Employment at Evolve In Nature

Evolve In Nature is a small group practice in Boulder, Colorado offering trauma-informed care to adult individuals and couples. Working for Evolve In Nature offers you the opportunity to excel as a professional trauma-informed clinician by providing you with work-life balance, competitive pay, benefits, a supportive team, indoor and outdoor therapy practice settings, a private practice feel, exceptional supervision, and therapy training rooted in modern neuroscience.

At Evolve In Nature, we pride ourselves on providing excellent therapy to our community. Excellent therapy requires exceptional clinicians. In order to create this advanced practice setting, training and supervision are provided to all our therapists. Additionally, we periodically record sessions to foster a learning environment where clinicians can continue to grow and hone their skill sets. With that in mind, we model our interview process after these tenets. The interview at Evolve In Nature is a four-part process for clinical positions. After applying, the first phase is an informal, virtual meeting (15-20 min) to determine if we’re all on the same page for moving forward. The second phase is an in-person interview with both owners of Evolve In Nature. The third phase is a recorded mock session, and the final phase is a reflection process. The outcome of each phase will determine your invitation to the next phase. We are looking for clinicians who are excited by this model of support and growth - clinicians who are motivated to continue to become exceptional practitioners in service of the growth of others. If this is you, please apply by clicking on the link in the job listing below.

Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)

Independent Contractor or W2 Employee $70–$100 per hour, with benefits available for W2 roles (health, dental, vision, retirement). Both independent contractor and W2 employment options are available. Schedules are flexible and self‑directed. Both part‑time and full‑time opportunities are available.

We are seeking a fully licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) with training and clinical experience in Ketamine‑Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) to join our multidisciplinary team. This role blends thoughtful psychiatric care, collaborative treatment planning, and medical oversight of KAP services within a trauma‑informed, relational, and nature‑connected practice.

Responsibilities:

Our ideal candidate is passionate about providing thoughtful, collaborative psychiatric care for adults navigating depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, relationship challenges, and identity exploration. We value clinicians who are comfortable working within an interdisciplinary model, who understand the nuances of ketamine treatment, and who appreciate the power of collaboration between prescribers and therapists. We value clinicians who bring curiosity, humility, and a grounded presence—someone who sees medication management as one part of a holistic, relational healing process.

Our practice integrates a range of therapeutic approaches, including somatic therapy, attachment theory, EMDR, parts work, CBT, and mindfulness‑based modalities. Experience collaborating with trauma‑informed therapists is a plus. What matters most is your alignment with our values: relational care, thoughtful prescribing, and a commitment to ongoing learning.

This position includes providing psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and medical oversight for KAP services across our Boulder and Arvada locations. You’ll work closely with licensed therapists to support clients navigating depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, and other mental health concerns—integrating pharmacological and psychotherapeutic approaches for whole‑person care.

While some telehealth appointments are available, this is not a fully remote position. In‑person care is required at our Boulder office, with opportunities to integrate nature‑based approaches when clinically appropriate.

We’re looking for a clinician who wants to grow with us—someone who values connection, collaboration, and long‑term partnership within a supportive, nature‑informed practice.

Qualifications:

If you’re seeking a values‑aligned practice where you can offer thoughtful psychiatric care, collaborate with a team of relational therapists, and reconnect with nature in the process, we’d love to hear from you.
