At Evolve In Nature in Boulder, Colorado, we understand that each individual's healing journey is unique. Our practice provides a safe haven for individuals and couples seeking a personalized approach to therapy.
Through a rich tapestry of therapeutic modalities like EMDR, somatic therapy, attachment therapy, and nature-based therapy, we empower you to address past traumas, enhance emotional balance, improve relationships, and cultivate an authentic and fulfilling life.
How does therapy work?
Evolve In Nature therapists and guides offer safety, compassion, and support for individuals and couples to process life’s challenges, both past and present. In therapy, you can learn new skills, overcome negative thoughts or behaviors, build more fulfilling relationships, and evolve your sense of self.
Therapy is a professional healing relationship in which you are invited to share your struggles and hopes and to self-reflect honestly. Your therapist will support and challenge you to identify and process emotions, transform negative beliefs, and alter familiar yet harmful patterns into new, healthy ones.
What is Evolve In Nature’s approach?
The conscious connection of body and mind is essential for mental health and well-being. In our professional experience and training, coupled with modern neuroscience, we recognize that unprocessed emotion manifests as unhealthy behaviors, insecure attachments, and physical illness. As a result, effective treatment must include both cognitive and somatic processes. We utilize trauma-informed somatic, EMDR, gestalt parts work/IFS, attachment therapy, interpersonal neurobiology, nature therapy, and a variety of other modalities to effectively help you reconnect with your body in order to shift patterns in the nervous system and affect change in both ways of thinking and responding. We provide individual and couples therapy.
We offer indoor, outdoor, and virtual sessions.

Throughout narratives, myths, and stories across cultures and across time and space, a common maxim is expressed: what you exile to the dark will return to haunt you. For 300,000 years, we humans have observed what happens in a person’s life when we turn away from pain or discomfort, and we have resoundingly concluded that banishment is unsuccessful.
We’ve witnessed and noticed that what is left untended grows and transforms, sometimes into a monstrous force or detestable creature, choking and suffocating life from its hidden lair. Collectively, we’ve also deduced that the only way not to succumb to emotional, physical, or psychological death by that which one has disavowed is to coax it out of the darkness. Otherwise, whether slowly or all at once, depression, anxiety, mania, dissatisfaction, and exhaustion claw away at what is good and disrupt every path.
